“Operating Room Effectiveness”: Phenomenological Qualitative Study In Hospital

This study investigates the experience of health and medical personnel in hospital operating rooms to evaluate effectiveness activities ventilation conditions hospitals. was designed as a qualitative research based on Heidegger's Hermeneutic Phenomenology Approach. The method carried out working room (OR) observers. data were collected using an open unstructured interview form. form includes items that question design conditions. Data analysis used Miles & Huberman with stages reduction, display, conclusion or verification. findings obtained from seven informants (health personnel) consisting three men four women. Age ranged 30 45 years. Two themes twelve sub-themes determined result analysis. are (1) layout (2) ventilation. concludes provides important information about physical requirements for professionally workers (OR). It is understood very good helping smooth preoperative postoperative handling. And already supports air circulation easy control its use. But still found another causes noise. Hospital management must consider type activity, use equipment, and/or other sources noise, whether building, without positive pressure system. So, be able pay attention humidity state system filtration so reduce risk wound infections.
